On January 22, 2020, at 9:27 a.m. Gibson County Deputy Michael Rose conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2003 Saturn VUE for failing to use their signal near the intersection of Franklin and Morton in Oakland City. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Rose identified the driver as 27-year-old Christopher Hess of Fort Branch.
