The Wabash District #348 school board has hired a new principal for Mt. Carmel Grade School. Meeting in monthly session last night, the school board approved hiring Brianne Foster to replace Chris Taylor starting with the next school year. Taylor recently was approved to transfer to the position of guidance counselor at the high school replacing the retiring Regina Paddick.

Also approved last night were the resignations of Lady Aces volleyball coach Kelsey Beckerman and assistant volleyball coaches Tray Beckerman and Lindsey Hadley.

The school board also granted the retirement request of 7th grade teach Dianne Kennard effective at the end of the 23-24 school year and high school workshop instructor and industrial technology department chair Ted Bishop at the end of the current school year.
