On 12/30/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Madonna R. McGrew, age 34, of Princeton, Indiana, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Leaving the Scene of an Accident following a traffic crash involving a parked vehicle in the area of 6th & Cedar Street.  McGrew left the crash site on foot but was located nearby with the assistance of a witness.  Once McGrew was located, field sobriety testing was conducted with several clues indicating impairment being observed. McGrew was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was processed for DUI and held pending the posting of bond.  Mt. Carmel Police were assisted by the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office.
