Traffic stop leads to arrest of Owensville woman on DUI charge

On September 20, 2019, at 5:15 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a possible impaired driver driving a Black Nissan Altima on State Road 64 west of Princeton. The concerned caller reported to central dispatch that the suspect vehicle had crossed the center line and almost hit oncoming traffic. The concerned citizen followed the vehicle until Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on State Road 64 near Sand Hill. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lienemann identified the driver as 57 year old Glena Stoneberger of rural Owensville. At that point Deputy Lienemann began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation he transported Ms. Stoneberger to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe. She has since posted a $750 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
