911 call leads to arrest of Wadesville man

On September 14, 2019, at 2:52 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 call from a residence in the 100 block of South Third Street in Francisco. The caller advised central dispatch that a white male was on their porch attempting to gain entry into the residence. Upon arriving Sergeant John Fischer began an investigation into the incident. During this investigation he went to a neighboring property and spoke with 32 year old David A. Fuhs II of Wadesville, Indiana who had been identified by the caller as the suspect. While speaking with Mr. Fuhs deputies discovered a hypodermic needle laying in plain view. At the conclusion of his investigation Sergeant Fischer placed Mr. Fuhs into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Fuhs was charged with Attempted Residential Entry, Criminal Mischief, Trespassing, and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe. He remains in custody on a $750 bond.

Assisting Sgt. Fischer in his investigation was Deputy Loren Barchett and Princeton Officer Chelsea Jones.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
