On 6/25/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Michael J. Rodriguez, age 41, of Quincy, IL, for Manufacture / Delivery of Methamphetamine. This arrest was a result of an ongoing investigation into the delivery of suspected methamphetamine to Rodriguez via the mail. During this investigation Mt. Carmel Police intercepted approximately 60 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine that was being sent to Rodriguez at a local motel. Rodriguez was taken to the Wabash County Jail where was charged and held on a $10,000 cash bond. Mt. Carmel Police were assisted with this case by the United States Postal Inspection Service.
