911 report of disturbance leads to arrest of Fort Branch man
On July 14, 2019, at 3:21 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a disturbance on Blackfoot drive in Fort Branch, Indiana. Sergeant Bryan Small was dispatched to the scene and upon arriving he began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of his investigation 39 year old Matthew Myers of Fort Branch was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Myers was charged with Battery and Strangulation. He has since posted a $750 bond.
Assisting Sergeant Small in his investigation was Haubstadt Officers Riley Farmer and Joshua Hoover.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
