On 7/8/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Jeffery S. Parrish, age 47, of Mt. Carmel, for Theft of Labor or Services following a complaint from Mt. Carmel Public Utility. MCPU found that a utility service had been tampered with at an address in the 200 block of E 13th Street, which is occupied by Parrish. Officers found evidence to indicate Parrish was involved in the theft of electricity so he was placed under arrest. Parrish was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending the posting of bond.
