The 2019-2020 school calendar in Wabash District #348 looks a lot different than those of previous years. Perhaps the biggest change is the possibility of four day school weeks beginning next April 24th. Superintendent Dr. Chuck Bleyer said the four Friday’s are listed as emergency days….

 Regardless of whether the days are taken, Bleyer said the next school year will end May 21st or 22nd and won’t stretch past Memorial Day.

Other changes to the calendar is that Columbus Day and Veterans Day will see school in session with those days used as teaching opportunities for students to learn about the importance of the days. Also, there won’t be school the Wednesday before Thanksgiving making that now a 5 day weekend.
