On 5/01/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Elizabeth F. Dunlap, age 48, of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County Warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Dunlap’s arrest stemmed from a narcotics investigation, by Mt. Carmel Police, into the illegal sale of Alprazolam, otherwise known as Xanax, in the Mt. Carmel area.  Dunlap was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was issued the warrant and held on a $2000 cash bond.  More arrests are expected in connection to the distribution of narcotics in Mt. Carmel.
