WHAT:                      Injury Crash

WHERE:                   US-50 at 500 feet west of N. Worthey Street, Flora, Clay County

WHEN:                      2: 50 AM on 04/25/19

VEHICLES:              UNIT 1 - Silver 2011 Chevy Malibu

DRIVER:                   UNIT 1 – Alexis B. Shock, 22, Clay City, IL,         

PASSENGERS:        UNIT 1 – N/A

CHARGES:               UNIT 1 – Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, and DUI Alcohol

TRANSPORTS:       UNIT 1 – Clay County Ambulance

PRELIMINARY:  Preliminary investigative details indicate that Unit 1 was traveling west on US-50 at Worthey Street when her vehicle traveled across the center lane marking, across the eastbound lane of traffic, and off the south shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 then struck a traffic sign, drove down into a ditch and came to rest.
