Mt. Carmel Women's Club Hosts District Convention
The GFWC Mount Carmel Women’s Club hosted the District 23 convention meeting on March 25th in the Tenpins Bowling party room. The Mount Carmel club received five awards for outstanding achievement in 2018 for the categories of Public Issues, Communications and Public Relations, Legislation, Advocates for Children, and Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The Mount Carmel Women’s Club has been in existence for eighty years serving our local community and welcomes new members who wish to support our efforts.
