On 4/17/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Matthew R. Howard, age 33, of Mt. Carmel, for Domestic Battery following a domestic incident at a residence in the 1100 block of North Market Street.  During their investigation officers learned of a domestic Howard allegedly had with another family member.  After speaking to both parties officers found evidence to indicate Howard battered the family member in question.  Howard was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail.  Howard was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
