Early voting is now underway for the consolidated election on April 2nd in Wabash County. So far, 20 people (as of Monday) have voted early locally according to county clerk Janet Will. She told county commissioners Monday that while there is quite a bit of interest in the Mt. Carmel city elections for mayor and city council, there are spots on the District #348 and Allendale school boards, the IECC district board, and village races in Allendale, Bellmont, and Keensburg. Early voting continues in Will’s office at the courthouse.
