Wabash County Commissioners have approved the purchase of two new vehicles for the sheriff’s department. At this week’s county commissioner meeting, Sheriff Derek Morgan presented details of the purchase that includes two 2019 Dodge pickup trucks similar to those the department currently has. The two trucks from the J. Wilderman Autoplex will cost just under $38,000 and will be financed through the First National Bank. According to Morgan, it will take two to four months to receive the new vehicles.
