The totals are in and Sunday’s 15th annual Guns ‘n Hoses basketball games at Mt. Carmel Grade School raised $1,450. Organizer Rod Rodriguez said the money will be donated to the Guardian Center, a not-for-profit child advocacy center providing confidential services to children and families affected by sexual and severe physical abuse in eight southeastern Illinois counties including Wabash. Rodriguez presented the check to the Guardian Center at today’s Wabash County Retail Merchants Committee meeting. The RMC is the sponsor of Guns ‘n Hoses.
