02/27/2019-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 37 year old John A. Malcolm of Vincennes after he was stopped in the area of W. 3rd Street and Walnut Street.  During the traffic stop it was discovered that Malcolm was operating the motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license.  During the arrest police located a glass smoking device commonly used in smoking methamphetamine.  Police arrested Malcolm and charged him with no valid registration, driving while license is suspended, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Malcolm was also wanted on a Knox County warrant charging him with fraud.  Malcolm was held pending the posting of bond and transfer to Knox County.
