02/20/2019-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 49 year old Mark A. Vanvleet of Mt. Carmel after police were called to a residence in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.  According to the police report, Vanvleet was inside of the residence trying to pull live electrical and cable wires from the basement of the residence.  The complainant signed a probable cause for disorderly conduct against Vanvleet.  Vanvleet was arrested after a brief struggle with officers and then transported to the Wabash County Jail.  He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  Vanvleet was held pending the posting of bond.
