Traffic stop leads to arrest of Evansville man
On December 2, 2019, at 5:15 p.m. Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevy Equinox on US 41 near State Road 168. Upon approaching the vehicle 46-year-old Jenai Lomae of Evansville was identified as the driver. During a roadside investigation Deputy Lienemann ran Mr. Lomae through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Mr. Lomae was driving her vehicle while his Operator’s License had been suspended on two previous Driving While Suspended convictions. At that point Deputy Lienemann placed Mr. Lomae into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
