Wabash County May Get "Needy Money" For Roads

Wabash County Highway Engineer Dustin Bunting said we could still see some of the road money earmarked for poor, smaller counties that was left out of this year’s state budget. Called Consolidated County Funds, but known as “needy” money, Bunting has learned the state will release about 25-percent of the money the county got last year, with the hopes they can eventually restore the funding levels.
