Last Friday’s Christmas Uptown Festival in Mt. Carmel is sponsored by the Retail Merchants Committee and one of its’ goals is attract holiday shoppers to the Market Street business district. And that goal was accomplished and then some according to retailers. At Tuesday’s RMC monthly meeting, members reported brisk traffic throughout the day and night with even some business owners saying it was a record day for them.
