ISP TRAFFIC CRASH ALERT

WHAT:                       Injury Crash (12-19-861)

WHERE:                    IL 128 near County Road 1425 N, 5 miles south of Beecher City

WHEN:                      11/21/2019, 6:35 A.M.         

VEHICLES:              UNIT 1 – White, 2010, Ford, F-250

DRIVER:                   UNIT 1 – Andy Voelker, 52, Altamont, IL

TRANSPORTS:      UNIT 1 – Andy Voelker, St. Anthony Hospital, Effingham

CHARGES:               UNIT 1 – N/A

PRELIMINARY:       Preliminary investigative details indicate, Unit 1 was traveling Northbound on IL Route 128 near County Road 1425 North in Effingham County. A deer ran in the roadway and into the path of Unit 1. Unit 1 struck the deer, spun around to the right striking an embankment, and came to a resting point facing westbound in the roadway.
