At this week’s Wabash District #348 school board meeting, the district’s social workers/guidance counselors made a presentation about the work they do in local schools. Speaking were Sarah Morris of MCGS, Nancy Vargo of MCES, Laura Taylor of MCJHS, and Amy Powers and Regina Paddick of MCHS.

A couple of the more eye-opening statistics presented were the district has 112 homeless referrals and 59 referrals to DCFS.
