On 10/08/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Holly S. Simpson, age 51, of Hardinsburg, KY, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol following a complaint about a possible intoxicated driver in the area of 9th & Poplar Street. When officers arrived they located the suspect vehicle, a white/black Ford Focus, along with the Simpson. Roadside sobriety testing was conducted on Simpson with numerous clues to indicate impairment being observed. Simpson was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was processed for DUI and held pending the posting of bond.
