The Mt. Carmel City Council has voted to amend the liquor license at the golf course, now operated by West Berwick Golf Course. Previously, only beer and wine could be served at the golf course. But, now the license has been amended to allow the sale of all alcohol. Mayor Bill Hudson said golfers will still be prohibited from bringing private coolers onto the course. Work continues on the pro shop at the golf course as the building has been gutted in preparation for the 2019 golfing season.
