Traffic stop leads to arrest of Vincennes man on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On January 24, 2019, at 7:57 a.m. Gibson County Deputy Loesch conducted a traffic stop on a White 2012 Chevy Colorado for speeding on US 41 near County Road 225 North. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Loesch detected the odor of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. At that point Deputy Loesch began a roadside investigation that resulted in the driver 64 year old Douglas Lemme of Vincennes being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Lemme was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia. He has since posted a $450 bond.
