08/06/2018Mt. Carmel Police arrested 38 year old Demetra N. Taylor of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for speeding.  During the traffic stop it was determined that she was driving on a suspended driver's license and that the registration on the vehicle had been altered.  Taylor was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with speeding, driving while license is suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and unlawful possession of a temporary registration knowing it to have been altered.  Taylor was held pending the posting of bond.
