Open House Planned To Honor Tom Ford at The First National Bank

  Tom Ford, Vice President and Loan Officer for The First National Bank of Allendale is retiring on May 11, 2018, after 45 years of serving the needs of area bank clients.  A native of Allendale, Ford graduated from Southern Illinois University and enlisted in the military in March 1971.  He was stationed at Fort Meyer, Virginia.  There, he served in the U.S. Army’s Third Infantry Regiment, or more commonly known as “The Old Guard”.  In 1973, Tom returned to the area and began his career with Production Credit Association. He was hired by Security Bank and Trust in 1976.  Tom joined the lending staff at The First National Bank of Allendale on February 2, 2004.  First National Bank President Don Price commented, “Tom has faithfully served the financial needs of area residents, and businesses throughout his career.  His commitment to this community and countless hours spent in support of our military veterans should be recognized and greatly appreciated.  We wish Tom all the best in his upcoming retirement.”  An open house is planned to honor Tom on May 11 at the bank’s Mt. Carmel location from 10:00-2:00.  Lunch will be served from 11:00-1:00.
