New Jersey man arrested on DUI charge after disturbance at local Denny's
On March 7, 2018, at 3:30 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a disturbance at the Denny’s located at 844 E. 1250 South. The caller reported that there were two intoxicated males causing a disturbance with other customers. Upon arriving in the area Deputy Ben Kiesel located the individuals in a White 1999 Plymouth passenger car. Upon speaking with the driver 29 year old David Weber Jr. of New Jersey Deputy Kiesel detected the odor of alcohol. At that point Deputy Kiesel conducted a roadside DUI investigation that resulted in Mr. Weber being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. At the Gibson County Jail Mr. Weber was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI.) He remains in custody on a $900 bond.
