11/04/2018-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 56 year old Janet S. McGill of Mt. Carmel after police observed her operating a 2012 Honda in the 900 block of W. 9th Street.  The arresting officer knew McGill was driving on a suspended Indiana driver's license.  The arresting officer initiated a vehicle stop and placed McGill under arrest.  During the arrest police located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  McGill was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with driving while license is suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and illegal use of property.  McGill is being held pending the setting of bond.
