On 11/18/18 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Steven W. Sherman, age 43, of Mt. Carmel, for Domestic Battery following a dispute with a girlfriend at a residence located in the 400 block of N Walnut Street.  While officers investigated this incident, they found evidence to indicate a physical battery had occurred, which resulted in the arrest of Sherman.  Sherman was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
