On Monday, September 9th, Yellow Jackets baseball traveled back to Clay City to finish a WEAA Conference game that had stopped due to rain after 3 innings on August 22nd. Clay City was leading after those three innings 5-2, then extended their lead to 10-2 after four innings. In the fifth inning, the Yellow Jackets scored a run to bring it to 10-3 with Brendan Bowser and Chase Gher drawing and Bowser scoring on a wild pitch as Levi Margelin walked. But in the bottom of the 5th inning, Clay City scored 3 runs with two outs and the ten-run rule came into effect. The final score was Clay City winning 13-3. Offensively for the game, Brendan Bowser had 2 hits, a walk, an RBI, and 2 runs scored; Chase Gher had a walk; Rhett Andrews had a single and an RBI; Levi Margelin had 2 walks, Michael Smith had a walk and reached on an error; Brayden Wilford reached on a fielder's choice; and Landon Wilford walked and scored.
