Mary K. Graham, 87
Mary K. Graham, 87, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on January 3, 2025 at Wabash General Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1937 in Owensville, Indiana, the daughter of John Wesley and Mamie DeVee (Pavey) Newton.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who found joy in being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved keeping up with all her families’ activities and supporting them in all their endeavors. Mary was a very hard worker and retired from Snap-On Tools where she made many friendships.
Mary loved spending time in the kitchen, preparing homemade meals for her family. She also shared her cooking talents at the VFW. In addition to her love for cooking, Mary had a zest for life and adventure. She enjoyed traveling and discovering new places, always eager to experience something different. Mary had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and was always dedicated to rescuing and caring for them. Mary's warmth, kindness, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mary will be remembered by her children, Donna (Fred) Schultz, Jack (Marina) Graham, Marilyn (Jerome) Titzer, and Trini (Sean) Garrison; many loved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma (Fred) Mason, Effie Stunkel, and Lou (Doug) Taylor.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Susan (Tim) Titzer, and Elana (Junior) Cline; siblings, John Wesley Newton II and Millard “Bub” Newton.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2025, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at Owensville Cemetery.
