Angela Pflaum, 61
Angela Pflaum, 61, of Olney, IL, passed away on January 15, 2025 in Evansville, IN.
Angela Pflaum was born February 3, 1963 in Decatur, IL to parents, Roger May and Darlene June (Gifford) May. She married Johnny Pflaum on October 20, 1984.
Angela began her walk with the Lord at age 9 and never strayed. She had a strong faith and powerful relationship with her Savior, and it touched every part of her life.
Angela served the Lord in the worship ministry alongside her husband, Johnny, before co-pastoring for 25 years. It was her passion to see people fall in love with Jesus, but her greatest ministry was towards her husband and her children.
As a homemaker, she loved making her family's house a home. She thoroughly enjoyed curating a warm, inviting place to raise children. In her recent years she took pleasure in the art of landscaping and watching her grandchildren play in the front yard. They were the joy of her life.
One of her favorite things to do was to spend Saturday mornings on the front porch with her husband drinking coffee. She also enjoyed walking and maintaining her health and fitness.
Angela was an intentionally thoughtful person, giving excellent gifts and making the holidays feel incredibly special. She and Johnny have built a life of generational legacy. She is a living example of Deuteronomy 6:7-9.
Angela is survived by husband, Johnny Pflaum of Olney; daughter, Audra Brown and husband, Isaac of Olney, son, Jonathan Pflaum and wife, Bree of Olney; grandchildren, May, Hudson, and Evelyn Brown, and Caroline, Everett, and Lynnan Pflaum; father, Roger May of Olney; sister, Deana Wease, brother, Darren May and wife Tracy, sister, Sheri Johnson and husband Rodney, sister-in-love, Randy A.
