Barbara J. Harman, 86, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Oakview Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 16, 1937, in Mount Carmel, the daughter of Robert and Mary Lou (Risley) Winkler. She married Robert Harman, who preceded her in death in 2013.

Barbara was employed in accounting and retail, having worked for Tarus Foods and Kirby Realtors. Barbara spent most of her adult life in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

Barbara will be remembered by her brother, Shane Fooks and wife Kathy; several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert; sister, Carolyn Keepes.

A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, where Barbara will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
