Clarence D. “Danny” Fulkerson, 63, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at home. He was born on August 19, 1960, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Clarence Jerry Fulkerson and Eva May Doades.

Danny faithfully served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Mount Carmel High School Graduating Class of 1979. During his high school years, he was a member of Aces Football and Wrestling Teams. Danny worked as a Boilermaker for twenty-one years. He was a “cat dad” who dearly loved his special kitty, Jewels. Danny enjoyed spending time with his family and having coffee with friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Danny leaves behind his father, Jerry Fulkerson; two brothers, Ronnie Fulkerson, and Michael Perkins; aunts, Este Erdman, Deanie Sherman, Joyce Cullison, Janet Carrie, Helen Fulkerson; and many loved cousins.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Eva May, and Mike Perkins.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Gospel Kingdom Church.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Gospel Kingdom Church with Brother Brandon Hodgson officiating. Burial, with Full Military Honors will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Danny’s memory to Gospel Kingdom Church.
