Becky L. Paque’, 67

Becky L. Paque’, 67, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 6, 1956, in Beech Grove, Indiana, the daughter of Paul and Mary Lou (Seitz) Barker. On March 2, 2023, Becky married her long-time love, Lee Paque’, at their home in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Becky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a true heart for others, was an amazing caregiver and no matter how she was feeling, she always had a smile and a sparkle in her eye. Some of the happiest times for Becky and Lee were when they moved to Wisconsin and renovated their lake-front log cabin. Having her whole family make the trip there to visit was a time she cherished. After moving to Florida, Becky enjoyed golfing, and organizing social benefits at the country club. She loved to cook, especially for big family gatherings and holidays back home in Illinois. She and her sisters would spend days side by side preparing a tremendous feast. Becky’s fondest memories with her children were when she took Alan to the 1993 Superbowl in California, taking her girls to New York for work, but with lots of shopping, and the time all the kids were with her out west in Colorado. Becky loved her children dearly, but when the grandchildren came along, they became her pride and joy. She loved keeping up with the happenings in their lives, but above all, she wanted them to be happy in whatever path life took them. Becky’s presence on this earth will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Becky leaves behind her beloved husband, Lee; one son, Alan Stoltz and wife Karla; two daughters, Kim Keepes and husband Shaun, Hollie Stuessel and husband Ruben; grandchildren, Alicia (Brett) Morgan, Kaelyn (Connor Adams) Bailey, Tanner Stoltz, Cortney (Chandler) Madden, Christian Stuessel, Cole Sardeson, Chase (Madelyn Cunningham) Keepes, Brayden Stoltz, Emma Keepes, Shelby Sardeson, and Lily Keepes; great-granddaughters, Freya Victoria Morgan, Kennedy Drew Madden; brother, Jeff Barker; sisters, Blanche Piper, Betty (Jim) Stanton, Billie (Smokey) Miller, Paula Blevins; many loved nieces and nephews.

A Private Family Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Richison officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
