Edward Earl “Tuffy” Pritchett, 65, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on August 16, 1956 in Marion, Illinois, the son of Leonard and Dorothy (Trexlar) Pritchett. Tuffy married Kathy Richardson on May 6, 1977 and together they enjoyed forty-five years of marriage centered on their family.

Tuffy’ s family was his whole world and he treasured the time he spent with them. He was a hard worker and spent many years as a boilermaker and also worked in construction. He also ran a body shop and was proud of his work. In his free time, Tuffy enjoyed watching NASCAR races. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Tuffy will be remembered by his loving wife, Kathy Pritchett; two sons, Clint Pritchett and Kyle Pritchett; grandchildren, Skyler Pritchett, Kamden Pritchett, Quinn Pritchett, Wyatt Pritchett, and Haylei Pritchett; sisters, Sandy (Danny) Mann, Betty Ann Smith, Carolyn Weir, and Barbara (Ward) Heilig; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tuffy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Geraldine Nix and Shirley Howell; and brother, Bob Pritchett.

A Celebration of Tuffy’ s Life will be held at a later date at Jacobs Well Church in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
