Kristy Lynn Curtis, 41

Kristy Lynn Curtis, 41, of Staunton, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the home of her parents in Bellmont, Illinois.  She was born on April 1, 1981, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Patrick and Barbara (Wood) Curtis.

Kristy loved life and to have a good time.  She was often the life of the party at gatherings.  She enjoyed bingo and always looked forward to attending.  Kristy had an artistic flair.  She liked tattoos, enjoyed working with diamond art jewels and adult coloring books.  She liked to go fishing when she could.  During her illness, she would work Sudoku puzzles for hours on end.  Kristy loved her family dearly and was very proud of her children.  She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.  

Kristy leaves behind her daughter, Harley Curtis; two sons, Aaron and Austin Curtis; parents, Patrick and Barbara Curtis; one brother, Jeremy (Shana) Curtis; grandmother, Frances Williams; aunts, Diana (Mike) Grisham, Judith (Lloyd Wood) Williams, Elizabeth (Nathan) Litherland, Roberta Vasquez, Beth (Roland) Bustillos, Virginia (Ruben) Cuellar; one uncle, Brian Williams; several great aunts and uncles and cousins. 

Kristy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Lindell Curtis, Harry Williams, David and Janet Wood.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Garner officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kristy’s memory to Harley or Barbara Curtis to help offset expenses.  Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed in care of Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
