Travis Lee Hedge, 40, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born on February 5, 1981 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Phillip and Donna (Crofts) Hedge.

 Travis was a graduate of Brownsville School.  He loved participating in Special Olympics, especially basketball and bowling.  He was proud of the many awards he won and loved the friends he made at the games. Travis enjoyed taking car rides with his family, especially his mother.  River Road was one of his favorite places to venture and they often stopped by Taco Tierra for his favorite Pepsi.  His favorite show to watch was Scooby Doo.  Travis loved spending time with is family.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

 Travis will be lovingly remembered by parents; brother, Greg Hedge and wife, Michelle; sister, Katrina Hedge; nieces and nephews, Zoey, Laney, Phoebe and Bryce Malone, Allison, Ashleigh and Abigail Hedge; along with several cousins.

 Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Hedge, Billy and Mary Crofts. 

 Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Joey Eblin officiating.   Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

 Family and friends may gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. 

 The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion given to Travis in his final days and the Mount Carmel community for their support over the years.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Travis’ memory to Donna Hedge to help with final expenses.
