Joe Holstein, 71, longtime resident of northern Wabash County, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 15, 2021. 

Joe was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ralph and Joan (Rigg) Holstein, his beloved daughter, Jenny and grandson, Kendall Sturm. 

Joe is survived by his son, Samuel and grandsons, Xander Umfleet and Draedon Holstein, sister, Jan (Rich) Arthur of Asheville, North Carolina, nephew, Drake (Melissa) Levo of West Virginia and niece, Amanda Morris (Isaiah) of Lanesville, Indiana, several cousins, a very special aunt, Janet Mann and certainly his most beloved, Debra Fisher of Washington, Indiana.

Joe worked in the energy field for several years.  He was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of the American Legion and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.  Joe was a member of the EUM Church and a friend of Bill W for seventeen years.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.  Full Military Honors will be conducted at the conclusion of the Memorial Service.  A Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
