Nancy J. Trusty, 63, of Albion, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on October 5, 1956 in Sutton, West Virginia, the daughter of Jessie (Hoover) Brock. Nancy married Robert “Bob” Trusty on February 3, 1975 and together they enjoyed forty-five years of marriage.

Nancy loved her family above all things. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and camping with family. Nancy was a very hard worker as a CNA at Oakview Heights Continuous Care and Rehab. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Nancy will be remembered by her husband, Bob Trusty; son, Eric VanMatre; sister, Rosa (Jerry) Ater of Sutton, West Virginia; granddaughters, Riley Trusty and Ashton Trusty.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Brock; and son, Travis Trusty.

In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
