The funeral service for Phyllis Schucker was held Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Weavil conducted the service. It included Prayer, Scripture Readings, Eulogy and a Message. The service began with the song “Oh When the Saints Come Marching In” played on CD. Music during the service included “How Lovely on the Mountains” and “Holy, Holy, Holy” sung by Sharon Mobley, accompanied by Marcia Woodcock. The service ended with Marcia playing “I’ll Fly Away.” Marcia played prelude and postlude songs. Burial was at Highland Memorial Cemetery where Phyllis was placed by her loving husband. There was a drive through visitation at Highland Memorial Cemetery prior to burial. Pallbearers were Jacob, Timothy, Dell, BJ, Arlen, Tod, Dwight and Michael, Phyllis’ grandsons and great grandsons. Short-Cunningham Funeral Home was honored to serve the Schucker family.
