Funeral Report-Norman “Norm” Brunson

Funeral Services were held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Heartland Worship Center to honor the life of Norman “Norm” Brunson. Trudy Fowler conducted the service that included prayer, reading of the obituary and funeral message. She also read the poem, “The Dash”. John Randall, shared a special tribute to how Norm impacted his life and talked about what a blessing Norm was to many. Musical selection during the service included, “Go Rest High On That Mountain” by Vince Gill, “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me and “Daddy’s Hands” by Holly Dunn. As guests were exiting, “To God Be The Glory” was played. Marcia Woodcock played the Mount Carmel High School Alma Mater Song and also provided postlude music during dismissal. During the Visitation, in true Norm fashion, Dum Dums Suckers, were passed out to those in attendance. Burial took place at Highland Memorial Cemetery where the Mount Carmel Honor Guard presented Full Military Honors for Norm’s faithful service in the United States National Guard. Pallbearers were Steve Riley, Monte Turner, Kelly Schroeder, John Randall, Donny Wilkinson and Levi Porter. Keepes Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Norman “Norm” Brunson
