Miles Alexander Paris, 12
Miles Alexander Paris, 12, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 6, 2007 in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Levi McDaniel and Marva Paris.
Miles was a 7th grade student at Mount Carmel Junior High School. He never knew a stranger and if you knew Miles, you knew he loved to talk. He will always be remembered for his big heart. In his free time, Miles loved playing video games and hanging out with his big brother, Slater. He also enjoyed listening to music. He loved playing basketball and was on the basketball team for the Mount Carmel Middle School. Anytime Miles would leave he would always say, “I love you”. He attended Thursday Church in Vincennes, Indiana.
Miles will be remembered by his mother, Marva Paris; father, Levi McDaniel; brothers, Slater Charest, Gunner Brewster and Keaton McDaniel; sisters, Kinsley, Abby and Addison McDaniel; maternal grandmother, Susan Price; maternal grandfather, Terry Paris; paternal grandmother, Karen Alvis; aunts, Paige Whitman, Amber Preston and Livia Houser; special cousin’s, Jayde Whitman and Grant Wampler; many loved aunts, uncles and cousins; many special friends and classmates.
Miles was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Daniel Ray McDaniel; and uncle, Logan Paris.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Heartland Worship Center, 212 W. 2nd Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2019 at Heartland Worship Center with Pastor Fred Crane officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in St. Francisville, Illinois.
Memorial contributions may be made in Miles’ memory to the Ronald McDonald House, 3450 Park Ave., St. Louis, Missouri, 63104. Envelopes will be at the Church or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
