Howard E. Rosignol, 72
Howard E. Rosignol, 72, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on August 16, 1946 in Mount Carmel, the son of Perry and Myrtle (Guard) Rosignol. Howard married Etta Anthis on March 23, 1968, in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
Howard faithfully served his Country in the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War. During his service he earned Vietnam Service & Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge and the Army Commendation Medal. He retired as an electrician after forty-five years where he was a part of the Local Union #16. Howard was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Etta and Howard loved getting in the car and going for a drive in Wabash County.
Howard will be remembered by his loving wife, Etta Rosignol of Mount Carmel; two brothers, Paul Rosignol and his wife Nancy and Bill Rosignol and his wife Cindy; sister, Joyce Swanson; along with many loved nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Howard’s wishes he will be cremated and a Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2019 at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Deron Colgan officiating along with Full Military Honors.
Memorial contributions may be made in Howard’s memory to the Free Methodist Church, USAMV our local honor guard or to the Rolling Thunder. Envelopes will be at the Graveside Service or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
