Kelly Sue (Saltsgaver) Askren, 47, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  She was born on August 15, 1971 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the daughter of Joyce and David Saltsgaver.  She married Tommy Lee Askren and he survives.

Kelly loved being outdoors and tending to her flower bed.  She enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a glass of Mountain Dew.  Her family and friends were very important to her.  She loved spending time with them and playing with her grandbaby and her fur babies.  Kelly will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Kelly will be remembered by her husband, Tommy Lee Askren; daughters, Keisha (Tracy Wilson) Ingram, Shantel (Ingram) Reed; granddaughter, Kenlee Reed; brother, Brad Saltsgaver of Gifford, IL; one aunt, Sue Pearson; nieces and nephew, Tasha Saltsgaver, Tessa (Saltsgaver) Wilson, Cami Saltsgaver, Tanner Saltsgaver; and many special friends and loved ones.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Kelly’s wishes she will be cremated.  A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Pentecostal Faith Assembly Church in Friendsville, IL.  A Memorial Service will be held following visitation at 6:00 p.m., also at the church.
