Jack “Jay” Elliott II, 55, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on July 25,1962 in Mount Carmel, Illinois the son of Jack and Edolyn Elliott.

Jay loved life.  He was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1981.  He loved being outdoors, boating and also loved riding his Harley.  Among his hobbies, Jay loved woodworking.  Jay also loved cooking and grilling for family and friends.  He enjoyed working at Elliott’s Steakhouse where he made many friendships.  Jay will be missed by all who knew him.

Jay will be remembered by his two sisters, Tonny Orr and Terry Edmondson both of Mount Carmel, Illinois; three nieces, Mandi (Eric) Hall, Kristel (Frank) Lopez, Karabeth Edmondson; several great nieces and nephews.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Summer Elliott-Kendrick; nephews, Scott Orr and Jordan Hall.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor John Schmeling officiating.   Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mount Carmel, IL.

Family and friends may gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
