Dallas William Case, 73
Dallas William Case, 73, of Owensville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville.
Dallas was born November 6, 1944, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, to Gertrude (Bolden) and Raymond Case. He was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. Dallas married Wanda L. (Hussey) Dicus on August 8, 2003, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dallas was a member of the Nazarene Church and was music director for several years.
Left to cherish Dallas’ memory is his wife, Wanda; daughter, Amanda Sue Robb and husband Chris; three grandchildren, Emily Sue Siverly, Peyton Robb and Brandon William Robb; siblings, Ruth Ellen Dick and Rick Seibert (Tracy); four step children, Sherry Byrd (John), Randy Dicus (Carol), Michael Dicus (Beverly) and Kevin Dicus (Mickey); and several step grandchildren.
Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Loretta Case; and siblings, Raymond Case and Mary Belle Gidcomb.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Burial will follow at Orio Cemetery.
