The funeral service for Dale Q. Miller was held Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Home.  USAMV Mt. Carmel Honor Guard executed a military walk through to begin the ceremony honoring Dale’s service in the Air Force during WWII.  Pastors Larry Survance and Mark Richison conducted the service.  Marcia Woodcock played keyboard.  “At the Cross” and “Amazing Grace” was sung by Lauryn Wright.  The burial service was held at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastors Survance and Richison.  USAMV Mt. Carmel Honor Guard presented Marcella with an American Flag, performed a 21 gun salute and served as pallbearers.  Bill Hudson played “Taps” to end the service.  Short Funeral Home was honored to serve Dale’s family.
